Structure for encapsulated cell
2011
PURPOSE: A capsule cell structure is provided to minimize the immune rejection response of a human body and damage of a heterogeneous islet cell. CONSTITUTION: A capsule cell structure comprises a first and a second layer(10,12) which are mutually faced and respectively include multiple pores; a third layer(14) positioned on the edges of the first and the second layer and forming a cell space; and a capsule cell positioned in the cell space. Either the first or the third layer is an integral type. The capsule cell is an islet cell formed with a film. The diameter of the pore is smaller than the diameter of the islet cell.
