Method for noninvasive electrophysiological examination of heart

2008
FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to cardiology, cardio-vascular surgery, functional diagnostics and clinical heart electrophysiology. Method of non-invasive electrophysiological examination of heart includes the following stages: fixation of registering electrodes on chest surface; ECG registration; processing of ECG-signals in real time mode; retrospective processing of obtained ECGs; computer and magnetic resonance tomography of chest; creating and editing computer voxel models of chest organs and heart; creation of polygonal models of torso, heart, lungs and other chest organs; determination of specific electric conductivity for large anatomical areas of chest by data of CT and MRT basing on known correspondences between biological tissue type and Hounsfield number in CT and MP-signal intensity in MRT and biological tissue type; determination of coordinates of registering electrodes on chest surface; interpolation of values of ECG-signals into junctions of polygonal net; reconstruction of electric field potential in specified points with application of conditions of potential and electric current continuity on the borders of separation of media with different electric conductivity according to equations: u 0 (x) = u i (x), where u 0 (x) and u i (x) is electric field potential in anatomical structures of chest, and are normal derivatives of electric field potential on the borders of anatomical structures, k 0 ,k i are values of electric conductivity in anatomical structures; visualisation of results of heart electric field reconstruction; clinical estimation of results. EFFECT: invention makes it possible to increase accuracy of non-invasive diagnostics of cardiac arrhythmias and other cardiovascular diseases. 13 cl, 19 dwg, 1 tbl
