웹 표준화에 따른 차세대 웹 디자인의 방향

This thesis researches HTML5 that has emerged on the circumstances of various web browsers with web generalization and functional development, in the current of the times that need web standards and web applications, and it describes the major features of HTML5 as a perspective of web designer. With the needs of functional aspects of web expanding, convenient and expressive web application technology based on web browser plug-ins such as Flash and Silverlight has been developed to support for previous HTML4 that dealt with only document information of text and images. However, they are not web standards, and have had subordinative relationships with specified web plug-ins. As an alternative, W3C(World Wide Web Consortium) adopted HTML5 that had realized web application without web plug-ins program installation as the next generation of web standards, and HTML5 development is now under way. As a perspective of web designer, this thesis provides you to discover the possibilities of the next generation of web design by researching the background of HTML5 appearance and the new functions and cases of HTML5-Semantic Markup, supporting for multimedia without plug-ins and CSS3.
