Thiazol-4,5-dikarbonitril jako nová elektron akceptorní jednotka v push-pull molekulách

A literature search focusing on push-pull D-p-A chromophores with intramolecular charge-transfer utilizing five-membered heterocycles as an electron acceptor unit has been carried out. An efficient preparation of 2-bromothiazole-4,5-dicarbonitrile as a key intermediate has been developed. Seven new push-pull chromophores with modified length of the p-conjugated bridge have been synthesized by cross-coupling reactions. Fundamental properties and extent of the ICT over the synthesized thiazole and former imidazole derivatives were studied by absorption spectra. Thermal properties were studied by differential scanning calorimetry.
