Modeling of Distributed Energy System with Multiple Energy Complementation

2018
The energy flow in energy utilization system is becoming increasingly complex due to the decarbonization tendency of primary energy consumption structure and the application of energy storage technology. There are main issues on how to establish the basic configuration of distributed energy system with multiple energy complementation and how the system can coordinate the start-stop and operation on variable load of the device to achieve maximum economic benefits. Starting from the basic configuration of energy utilization system, it is proposed in this paper that the distributed energy system with multiple energy complementation is a new energy system where natural gas is used as the main primary energy combined with renewable energy at local to satisfy different terminal users. Taking the method of stepwise decomposition and modeling, a superstructure model is established through the integration of different energy conversion technology and combination of different transformation, which can coordinate the energy flow and energy balance constraint in the subsystem such as energy generation, energy conversion and energy storage. Meanwhile, the maximum performance factor indicator is taken as the objective function and the energy balance is chosen as constraint to optimize installation capacity and hourly operation strategy. The established model is applicable to research of energy strategy of distributed energy system with multiple energy complementation and both the planning and designing of the scientific, reasonable and reliable comprehensive energy.
