Susac sydrome (SS) is a rare disease of unknown eth iology. It was first described by John O. Susac in 1979. It is cau sed by a microangiopathy affecting the arterioles of the brain, ret ina and cochlea, giving the classical traid of subacute encephalopat hy, visual loss and sensorineural hearing loss. The purpose of this article is to present a case re port of SS and made a review of the literature.
