Summary of Experimental of Distributed Optical Fiber Sensor Bated on BOTDR

Brillouin optical time domain reflect meter (BOTDR) is a new type of distributed optical fiber sensing technology. Compared with the conditional monitoring technologies, it has some unique functions such as distributed, long distance, on-line, anti-electromagnetic interference and waterproof. It can be applied to slope engineering, foundation pit engineering, tunnel engineering, large structures engineering and bridge engineering. This paper is the summary of the domestic experimental study and application on distributed optical fiber sensor bated on BOTDR.
