우리는 왜 농구를 하는가? :여성 농구동호회 A팀의 창단 목적과 배경에 관한 내러티브 탐구

The purpose of this research is to examine how people make women’s basketball clubs and their teams are made up of. Especially, we choose Women’s Basketball Club ‘A’, and this team organized most of women members who have never experienced basketball. Participants of this research are president and vice-president, and they used the narrative inquiry. Based on their experiences, we found the reason why they made ‘A women’s Basketball Club and how they managed the team. In addition, our research verified what their goal is. The research is as following. First of all, this club is supposed to develop sportsmanship through women basketball. Second, basketball allows female members to know pleasure of team sports. Moreover, the purpose of its foundation is to refresh women’s lifetime and positive participation experience. As we analyse amateur women’s basketball community, which have not dealt with before, through the narrative inquiry of a team’ s executives, it’s significant that this research provides the opportunity directly to know a story behind the community.
