Liquid delivery compositions of drugs.

A pharmaceutical composition suitable for liquid delivery forming a controlled release implant, comprising effective amounts and: a) a biodegradable biocompatible polymer fear plastic which is insoluble in an aqueous medium; b) a biocompatible organic solvent for the polymer that is miscible in an aqueous medium; c) a controlled release component comprising an active agent which by contact with the aqueous medium, the composition forms a gelatinous implant by dissipation or dispersement of the organic solvent into the aqueous medium, with the controlled release component embedded therein.
