58.3: 7‐inch Color VGA flexible TFT LCD on Colorless Polyimide Substrate with 200 °C a‐Si:H TFTs

A 7-inch VGA transmissive-type active matrix TFT-LCD display with a-Si TFT fabricated on colorless polyimide (PI) substrate is demonstrated. The proposed colorless PI substrate has the features of high Tg (∼350 °C) and high light transmittance (∼90%). The electrical and mechanical reliability for a-Si TFT fabricated at 200 °C have also been studied.
