COMPUTER ASSISTED COLLISION AVOIDANCE. DOCUMENTATION OF THE SOFTWARE 'COLLAVOID'. PARTIAL REPORT 1. FINAL REPORT

Within the framework of the R and D project 'Computer Assisted Collision Avoidance' a software has been developed which gives suggestion for collision-avoidance tracks in complex multi-ship encounters. This partial report contains a description of the functionalities and of the man-machine interface of this software. The documentation is divided in two parts. The first part includes a manual for the software; the elements of the man-machine interface are explained there. The second part of the report is a technical documentation of the software 'CollAvoid'. This part goes into details of the implementation. An appendix of the report contains a complete reference of all routines developed and implemented within 'CollAvoid'.
