PPP da Escola Estadual Indígena Kijêtxawê Zabelê

This article intends to carry out a respectful and contextualizedreading of the political pedagogical project of the KijetxaweZabele Indigenous State School, located in Cumuruxatiba inthe municipality of Prado in Bahia, created by initiative andstruggle of the Pataxo people. Such reading aims to comparewhat is the intercultural experience thought and lived by themin the daily routine of their school practices. For this purpose, indigenous and non-indigenous authors will be placed into dialogue, namely: Daniel Munduruku (2012a; 2013b), Nestor Canclini (1983), Vera Candau (2008) and Stuart Hall (2003). All these readings point to intercultural education as a means to ensure that difference will be recognized, to the same extentthat inequalities dating back centuries will be problematizedand solved, in the field of recognition and rights disputes.
