Ozone Therapy as a Complementary Treatment in Cardiovascular Diseases

Ozone is a metastable gas, made up of three oxygen atoms, faintly blue, which owes its name to the characteristic pungent odor (from the Greek ozein: smell). Ozone was used for therapeutic purposes since the end of eighteenth century. The current applications of ozone therapy include many fields of medicine. This therapy is safe and doesn’t have adverse effects.
