Study of the Multiple Melting Transformation of Poly(ε-caprolactone) Crystal

The multiple melting transformation of three samples of poly(e-caprolactone)(PCL) isothermally crystallized between-8℃ to 20℃ at different heating rate was investigated by means of differential scanning calori-metry(DSC) analysis.The effects on the multiple melting transformation of PCL crystals caused by the isothermal crystallization temperature(Tc) and the heating rate were studied.With the increasing of the molecular weight of PCL,or with the increasing of the DSC heating rate,or with the decreasing of the Tc,the multiple melting transformation became more and more obvious.
