Поиск надежных и информативных молекулярных маркеров воспаления при посттравматическом увеите

2013
Penetrating eye injuries are often complicated by the development of uveitis, which is a major cause of vision loss. An important task is to find molecular markers that reflect severity of the inflammatory process in the uveal tract. The incidence of identification for tumor necrosis factor (TNF), interleukin-1β (IL-1β) and neopterin and dynamic changes of their concentration in tear fluid have been studied in 93 patients with acute posttraumatic uveitis of different localization. Neopterin was found to be the most reliable and informative marker of intraocular inflammation. Despite the fact that the average levels of TNF and IL-1β correlated with the severity of uveitis, in many patients the concentrations of these cytokines were below the detection level.
