Технонаука как социокультурный проект: от идей начала XX в. к современным реалиям

2020
The article critically analyzes the project of science development proposed by the scientist and public figure A.A. Bogdanov. The significance of this project and the need to consider it is due to the fact that the problems that Bogdanov was concerned about and tried to solve – how science exists in the social and cultural space, what social and cultural functions it performs and how it should be thought of, including projectively, as a socio-cultural phenomenon, are still relevant today. Although in authentic form none of the plans of A.A. Bogdanov was not implemented, they reflected the emergence of trends that determine the current state of science as a social institution and cultural phenomenon. Among these trends: the increasing prevalence of the ideal of useful science over the ideal of science focused primarily on solving cognitive problems; the increase in the share of interdisciplinary research as a strategy to overcome the narrow specialization of scientific knowledge; the ideology of wide popularization and democratization of science. Consideration of how Bogdanov builds his project for the development of science, what arguments defend its significance and necessity, clarifies, as shown in the article, the roots of the technoscientific project, its weaknesses and strengths.
