Method and system for processing oct signal using general-purpose graphics processing unit

A method for processing an OCT signal using a general-purpose graphics processing unit (GPGPU) in an OCT system. The method comprises four steps: (1) data collection; (2) data transmission; (3) data processing; and (4) transfer to an image display library. At the same time of data transmission, the GPGPU is used to perform parallel processing on OCT original data that is transmitted to a device memory a previous time, and the processed data is placed in a memory of the image display library. The method may improve efficiency of processing an FD-OCT digital signal, thereby implementing real-time processing and display of an image, lowering a requirement for and a cost of a digital signal processing device, and improving portability of software and reducing a development cost of the software; meanwhile, seamless combination with existing popular image display libraries are implemented, thereby improving flexibility of software display.
