Acoustic Treatment and Sound System for Coliseum, Corpus Christi, Texas

The acoustic treatment of a large Quonset but shaped coliseum is described. Before treatment the building was judged to be “impossible” acoustically. Acoustic measurements of reverberation time, articulation index, and definition before and after treatment are presented. The design of a sound system for the coliseum is also described.
