Psychotherapie und Neurowissen- schaften

2015
Results from neuro-imaging studies on the neuronal correlates of the mechanisms effective in psychotherapy for the treatment of anxiety disorders, obsessive- compulsive disorders and borderline personality disorder are presented. These results underline the inter- action of self-regulatory affective and cognitive abilities, which are enhanced by psychotherapy, with activation patterns in the brain. The possibilities and limits of these neuro-scientific studies are discussed.
