Investigation of Tumor Necrosis Factor Receptor 2 Expression in Human Colorectal Cancer

2000
Objective To study the clinical significance of Tumor Necrosis Factor Receptor 2(TNFR 2)expression and its relationship with clinical pathology and Duke's classification in Human colorectal cancer Method SABC immunohistochemical method was used to examine the positive rates of TNFR 2 in 97 cases of colorectal cancer、81 cases of its surrounding mucosa and 13 cases of normal tissue Result The positive rate of TNFR 2 expression in colorectal cancer was significantly higher than in surrounding mucosa and in normal tissue, further more TNFR 2 expression in surrounding mucosa was significantly higher than in normal tissue There was no correlations between differentiation grade, serous membrane invasion and the degree of TNFR 2 expression( r=-0.096, P=0.443;r=0.1, P =0.396) But there was negative correlations between lymph node metastasis and TNFR 1 expression( r=-0.3131, P =0.007) Significant difference was found between Duke's A, B and Duke's C( P 0.001) Conclusion TNFR 2 expression was important to determine the degree of malignancy, and predict lymph node metastasis and Duke's classification of colorectal cancer
