Сейсмостратиграфия осадочного покрова как основа прогноза инженерно-геологических условий Баренцевоморского шельфа

The article is founded on extensive data of seismoacoustic investigations, engineering-geological boring and dedicated to the Quaternary sedimentary cover in the eastern part of the Barents Sea shelf. The seismostratigraphy of this cover is characterized. Peculiarity of the physical properties of deposits in various seismostratigraphic units of the Quaternary section is shown. The authors conclude that seismostratigraphic data can be considered as the base for predictive estimation of the engineering-geological conditions of the Barents Sea shelf.
