Fabrication of all-inorganic CsPbBr3 perovskite nanocubes for enhanced green photoluminescence
2018
Abstract Uniform sized, nano-cube shaped, all-inorganic perovskite CsPbBr 3 nanocrystals are developed via a facile room temperature surfactant-mediated emulsion approach. Powder X-ray diffraction (PXRD) is used to determine the orthorhombic phase. Field emission scanning electron microscope (FESEM) images are taken to investigate the morphology and size of the as-prepared sample. Elemental mapping is implemented by energy dispersive x-ray spectroscope (EDX) to confirm the stoichiometry of the CsPbBr 3 samples. UV-visible spectra are recorded in reflectance mode and band gap (E g ) is estimated for the samples. The optical properties (band gap and photoluminescence behavior) of CsPbBr 3 are enhanced significantly in nano cube sample as compared to the bulk CsPbBr 3 sample.
