Th17 and malignant tumor

Recently,the appearance of activated CD4+T cell termed T helper 17(Th17)secreting interleukin-17,rewrites traditional understanding of Th cells in past two decades.Its differentiation pathway and immunity function are completely different from Th1 and Th2,which proves it is a new independent branch of Th cells.Many studies have confirmed that Th17 participates in autoimmunity diseases and infections.And mass of studies have demonstrated its important role in tumor immunity recently.This review focuses on associated studies of Th17 and malignant tumor.
