Practical Study on Jinagsu Province Competitiveness of the Region

To research the current economic development level of different regions and the competitive power of different cities of Jiangsu,the paper developed an evaluation index system on region competitive power.Through analyzing economic data of thirteen cities of Jiangsu comprehensively with factorial analysis,obtained the competition place of those cities.The empirical study results proved that: the gap of competitive power among developed cities was small.But the gap of competitive power among those thirteen cities was large.Polarization phenomenon was quite prominent between Southern Jiangsu and Northern Jiangsu.So,to improve the overall competitive power of Jiangsu,it is very important to reduce the gap of between Southern Jiangsu and Northern Jiangsu.To insist on the region development directive "to promote the development level of Southern Jiangsu,to promote Middle Jiangsu developing quikly,and to excavate stamina thrives superiority of Northern Jiangsu,it needs increases the investment of capital construction for Northern Jiangsu.
