The invention discloses a high-density aerial root promotion method for root-cutting grafted seedlings of melon crops. No rooting agent is required; no solid root adhered matrix is available at rooting parts of the grafted seedlings; the sterilized root-cutting grafted seedlings are directly placed under conditions of constant temperature, relative humidity and illumination intensity for cultivation and root induction; 2800-3000 root-cutting grafted seedlings are concentratedly placed every square meter; and the root-cutting grafted seedlings are transplanted into an ordinary seedbed after aerial roots grow to 0.5-1.0cm. The method solves the problems that illumination, humidity and temperature management is complicated during a root induction period of the grafted seedlings, requirements on experience quality of producers are higher, and the generalization performance is poor. Compared with the prior art, with the adoption of the method, root nursing cycles of the root-cutting grafted seedlings are shortened, the rooting efficiency is high, the obtained rooting grafted seedling quantity is high, the management is simplified, the labor input is reduced, and a foundation is laid for mechanical root promotion.
