BIODIESEL DE ÓLEO RESIDUAL: DENSIDADE EM FUNÇÃO DA TEMPERATURA E DAS PROPORÇÕES DE MISTURA NO DIESEL

2013
Biodiesel is one biofuel indicated for compression ignition engines of diesel cycle, and they can be used as an additive or as a replacement of diesel oil. This work has had the objective assess the density of seven proportions of ethyl biodiesel filtered residual oil from the restaurant universitario + diesel, the proportions were B0 (0 +100), B5 (5+ 95), B15 (15+85), B25 (25 +75), B50 (50 +50), B75 (75 +25) and B100 (100 +0). The work was conducted in the Laboratory of Machinery and Agricultural Mechanization of the agricultural Engineering Department of UNESP, Jaboticabal, SP. A density of biodiesel, ethanol filtrate of residual oil from the restaurant university was determined and modeled in seven proportions of mixture, varying the temperature of 10 to 70oC. The results showed that the density was influenced as a function of the ratio of mixture of biodiesel and the temperature of the biofuel at the time of the test.
