Synthesis and characterization of artificial ketamine antigen

Objective:To link Ketamine to bovine serum albumin(BSA) through chemical reaction to synthesize artificial Ketamine antigen.Methods:Ketamine's analog synthesized by us was conjugated to carrier protein BSA using glutaraldehyde method.The conjugation was confirmed by UV scanning method and protein electrophoresis.The reaction of artificial Ketamine antigen and anti-Ketamine antibody was verified by gold immunochromatography assay(GICA).Results:The conjunction of Ketamine and BSA was successful and the antigenic activity of the formed artificial Ketamine-BSA conjugate was confirmed.Conclusion:Ketamine-BSA can be successfully synthesized by the above method,and can be used as immunogen to produce anti-Ketamine antibody and coating antigen in immunoassay for Ketamine detection.
