The subject matter of the invention is compounds of Formula I in which R is a halogen, a C-alcohoxyl, RCNH (CH) -, RCONH (CH). -, NRNSO (CH) -, OR RSONH (CH) - (OR R AND R REPRESENT EACH HYDROGEN OR AN ALKYL IN CR REPRESENTS AN ALKYL IN C AND P IS 0 OR 1); R REPRESENTS HYDROGEN OR C-ALKYL; R REPRESENTS HYDROGEN OR C-ALKYL; R AND R REPRESENT EACH HYDROGEN, A C-ALKYL OR 2-PROPENYL; REPRESENTED -CO- OR -SO-; N REPRESENTS A WHOLE NUMBER INCLUDING BETWEEN 2 AND 5; AND M REPRESENTS ZERO OR A WHOLE NUMBER INCLUDING 1 TO 4; AND THEIR PHYSIOLOGICALLY ACCEPTABLE SALTS AND SOLVATES (SUCH AS HYDRATES). THE COMPOUNDS HAVE A POWERFUL AND SELECTIVE VASOCONSTRICTRICE ACTIVITY AND ARE INDICATED AS USEFUL IN THE TREATMENT OF MIGRAINE. THE COMPOUNDS MAY BE FORMULATED AS PHARMACEUTICAL COMPOSITIONS WITH PHYSIOLOGICALLY ACCEPTABLE SUPPORTS AND EXCIPIENTS FOR ADMINISTRATION IN ANY WAY THAT SUITABLE.
