Study on Preparation of Molybdenum-Rhenium Alloys by Powder Metallurgy Methods

Molybdenum-rhenium alloys possess a unique combination of excellent ductility,weldability and ra- dioresistanee.For these reasons they have been applied in many high-tech fields,such as space and nuclear power.The PM methods of producing Mo-Re alloys and the properties of the Mo-Re alloys with various Re-content,and the effects of other elements on the properties of Mo-Re alloys are introduced in this paper.The research priority and potential ap- plication in the future are also given.
