Study on Sensitive Mechanism and Numerical Simulation of Thermal Expansion Fluidic Gyroscope in Three-Dimensional Model

In this paper, the sensitive mechanism of thermal expansion gyroscope in 3D model is studied. The three-dimensional model of thermal expansion gyro is established, and the temperature field and flow field in gyro cavity are calculated by COMSOL Multiphysics software. The results show that the temperature field is distributed symmetrically in the cavity with angular velocity applied. The temperature between thermistors will change due to Coriolis force. In the range of ±25rad/s, the temperature difference rate is 3.426×10-5K/rad/s and the nonlinearity is 7.87% with the range of ±25rad/s.
