Activities of O-Glycoside Hydrolases and Other Polysaccharide-Degrading Enzymes of Cultivable Bacterial Isolates of the Pacific Red Alga Ahnfeltia tobuchiensis (Kanno et Matsubara, 1932) Makienko, 1970

The profiles of bacterial O-glycoside hydrolases and alginate lyases associated with the red alga Ahnfeltia tobuchiensis are described for the first time. A role of these enzymes in the trophic relationships of the host organism and bacteria is discussed.
