Z-scan Techniques and Its Applications in Material

Based on nonlinear optical properties test of materials,the basic principles of the primitive Z-scan techniques and data processing are firstly introduced in this paper,and then technical theories of the two-color time-resolved Z-scan technology are discussed emphatically,as well as its superiority in the material optics non-linear effect test and some questions ought to pay attention to.Finally,combining the Z-scan technique theories and current experiment research results,two development ideas of Z-scan technique are summed up,namely,charge-coupled device(CCD) camera replacing an energy or power detector to carry out the signal acquisition and various improvement methods being applied to the experiment testing continuously.
