Reduction of volatile emissions by additives.

The invention relates to the use of isothiazolone compounds, mercapto, cyclodextrin, iodopropynyl butylcarbamate, diiodomethyl p-tolyl sulfone, zinc oxide, hydrogen peroxide or mixtures of two or more such compounds as additives for reducing emissions of volatile compounds which are potentially hazardous or cause unpleasant odor from compositions formed by constituents forming such compounds which are potentially hazardous or cause unpleasant odor.
