A Demanda pelo Voto Feminino no Brasil: Abordagem Histórica

This article aims to highlight the demand for women's suffrage in Brazil. This literature is a resiarch of bibliographical exploratory status. The hypothesis is that the woman did not get the  guarantee  of  lots  of  rights,  including  voting,  with  the  ascention  of  modern constitucionalism. In this sense, the acquisition of right to vote was a recent achievement in many other countries. In Brazil, discussions on women's suffrage were agenda of constituent in 1891. The arguments against women's suffrage are based on the physical and mental fragility of women.
