An analytical method of silicon solar cell model parameters

By the mathematical model analysis of the silicon solar cell, a method to extract the model parameters of silicon solar cells using open circuit voltage, short circuit current and the voltage and current of maximum power point is given. The simulations and experimental measurements are fulfilled on two types of silicon solar cells. The results demonstrate that the method proposed can reflect the characteristics of silicon solar cells.
