Ultrastructural distinction of autosomal dominant ichthyosis vulgaris and X-linked recessive ichthyosis.

In autosomal dominant ichthyosis vularis ultrastructural studies have revealed a severe disturbance of keratohyalin synthesis by which this entity may clearly be distinguished from X-linked ichthyosis.
