Mediastinitis: parotid abscess complication

such a purulent collection spreading to other cervical or tho-racic spaces can lead to extremely severe clinical features and high mortality, especially if it culminates in mediastinitis.We are reporting a rare case of parotid abscess with dis-section into mediastinum, a rare complication of salivary gland infection.
