Confirmación experimental del rango de especie de aeonium mascaense (crassulaceae): (addenda)

espanolSe presentan los resultados obtenidos en la segunda fase del estudio de investigacion cuyo objetivo era esclarecer el verdadero rango taxonomico que le corresponde a Aeonium mascaense. La repeticion del cruce-1 (A. haworthii x A. sedifolium) que no habia producido semillas fertiles en la primera fase, si origino descendencia tras introducir algunas modificaciones tecnicas. El analisis de la progenie obtenida muestra claramente que de este cruce no se obtiene A. mascaense como habian sugerido algunos botanicos. El hibrido obtenido se describe como A. x experimentale nothosp nov., ya que es muy probable que exista en la naturaleza, dada la coincidencia geografica y fenologica de los dos progenitores en la vertiente noroccidental de Tenerife. EnglishThe results obtained in the second phase of the research study are presented, with the goal of establishing the true taxonomic rank of Aeonium mascaense. The repetition of crossing-1 (A. haworthii x A. sedifolium) that had not produced fertile seeds in the first phase, did originate offspring after introducing some technical modifications. The analysis of the obtained progeny clearly demostrates that A. mascaense is not obtained from this cross as some botanists had suggested. The hybrid obtained is described as A. x experimentale nothosp nov., since it is very likely that it exists in nature, given the geographical and phenological coincidence of both parents in the northwestern slope of Tenerife.
