Evolution of multicomponent inclusions of a new phase under the influence of irradiation
1992
An analysis is made of the growth and dissolution by diffusion of coherent multicomponent inclusions of a new phase that precipitate from a supersaturated solution under the influence of irradiation. The supersaturation is represented by a deviation of the product of the average concentrations of the reagents from the reaction constant. An expression obtained for the growth rate includes a negative term proportional to the radiation intensity and describing the radiation-induced dissolution of an inclusion
