Manufacturing excellence and future challenges of wireless laser components for 4G/5G optical mobile fronthaul networks

Uncooled diode lasers are key wireless components for optical mobile fronthaul networks. In this paper, we discuss the state-of-the-art manufacture of 10G FP and 10G DFB for 4G LTE and future challenges of 25G EML and 25G DFB for 5G and beyond.
