Perfil do atendimento pré-hospitalar realizado pela motolância em Santa Cruz do Sul: análise do impacto após a implantação do serviço no município

The Mobile Emergency Service (SAMU) is understood as a component of the Brazilian pre-hospital care and has basic units, advanced, motolâncias, vessel and aero-medical teams. This article aims to know the epidemiological profile of care provided by the Santa Cruz do Sul SAMU with the participation of Motolância. It is a cross-sectional, descriptive study, with data collection through calls chips made by local units. The period of data collection, from June 2013 to July 2015. As results we observed a higher number of Basic Support Unit calls in conjunction with the Motolância regarding Advanced Support Unit, as well as significant growth of the services rendered counting the Motolância, thereby increasing the quality of service in regards to improving the response time and specialized services in order to minimize sequelae in critically ill patients.
