Enhanced H2S sensing characteristics of La-doped In2O3 : Effect of Pd sensitization

Abstract Hydrogen sulfide (H 2 S) sensing characteristics of nanoparticles of Pd or Au-impregnated 5 wt% La 3+ –In 2 O 3 have been examined. Compared to Au, Pd modified 5.0 wt% La 3+ -doped In 2 O 3 is more sensitive to H 2 S. The composition In 2 O 3 :5.0 wt% La 3+ /Pd (0.5 wt%) exhibits the highest response to 50 ppm H 2 S, with excellent selectivity at 100 °C.
