Tertiary Amino Polymers by Polyaddition of 2,2'-Alkylenediiminodiethanethiols to 1,4-Bismethacryoylpiperazine.

The synthesis of poly(methacrylamido-thioetheramine)s by thermal polyaddition of 2,2'-alkylenediiminodiethanethiols to 1,4-bismethacryloylpiperazine is reported. These products show less pronounced hydrolytic behavior in acidic aqueous solution than the corresponding poly(acrylamido-thioetheramine)s.
