Synthesis, characterization and biological evaluation of N-(5-(4-methoxyphenyl)-1,3,4-thiadiazol-2-yl)-4-nitrobenzamide derivatives

A series of N-(5-(4-methoxyphenyl)-1,3,4-thiadiazol-2-yl)benzamide derivatives 8 (a-g) have been synthesized. Structures of all the targeted synthesized compounds were evaluated by spectral analysis. All the synthesized compounds were evaluated for antifungal activities. Some of the synthesized compounds showed good antifungal activities at the concentration 100 μg/ml.
