The invention provides a method for preparing a metal phthalocyanine functional grapheme Pt supported catalyst of a direct methanol fuel cell. A metal phthalocyanine molecular functional grapheme composite material is used as a carrier, and Pt nano particles are deposited on the surface of the composite material by means of ultrasonic treatment or hydrothermal reaction, so that the metal phthalocyanine functional grapheme Pt supported catalyst is prepared. The Pt nano particles deposited in the catalyst have the advantages of small size, fine dispersity, large electrochemical activity surface area and the like. Electro-catalysis activity and stability of the catalyst for methanol oxidation are greatly improved, and the catalyst has excellent CO toxication resistance.
