Progress of Rhodium/Diphosphine-Catalyzed Homogeneous Hydroformylation of Internal Olefins

Hydroformylation of olefins is one of the important industrial processes.Due to the strong coordination ability and the good catalytic activity of their rhodium complexes,diphosphine ligands can increase the selectivity for linear aldehydes in the hydroformylation of internal olefins.The influence of structural changing of diphosphine ligands on the activity and the selectivity for linear aldehydes in hydroformylation of internal olefins were also extensively introduced.This review systematically summarized the progress made in homogeneous hydroformylation of internal olefins catalyzed by diphosphine-rhodium complexes in the past few years.
