High-sensitivity surface mount PD preamplifier module by passive alignment technology

A high-sensitive surface mount PD preamplifier module has been developed by applying a passive alignment structure to a low-capacitance surface-illuminated PD. The sensitivity of over - 36 dBm has been obtained for 622 Mb/s signal.
