Design and Implementation of EAST Document Management System

In order to manage the project and experimental documents of EAST tokamak,so as to promote the project progress and the collaboration between departments,a special electronic document management system based on browser /server structure is designed. All documents can be retrieved and located through document UID which is the unique identification of a document. The Ajax technology and jQuery EasyUI framework are adopted to realize partial page refresh. The system is developed based on CodeIgniter which is an open-source PHP framework,and main functions of the system have been implemented including document classification storage,on- line operation,version control,user and permission,working- flow management,and other functions. This system has successfully been applied in EAST experiments,greatly improving the work efficiency in each department.
