Toxicidade in vitro de diferentes concentrações de surfactante em solução salina contendo óleo de Mauritia flexuoxa para espermatozoides epididimários de touros de corte

This study aimed to evaluate the efficiency of saline solution supplemented with Mauritia flexuoxa oil and surfactant for bovine epididymal spermatozoa conservation in vitro. The sperm parameters evaluation was done after semen extending using saline solution containing 20% of Mauritia flexuoxa oil and sodium dodecyl sulfate at 0.5%, 0.25% and 0 1%. The parameters analyzed were: motility, vigor and morphology after 5, 10, 15, 30, 60 and 120 min incubation at 37 ° C. The control group was used physiological saline without additives. The solution containing Mauritia flexuoxa oil and sodium dodecyl sulfate has toxicity to bull spermatozoa collected from epididymis.
