The influence of the second-order magnetocrystalline anisotropy on the initial magnetic permeability of MnZn ferrous ferrite
1980
Abstract The effect of the second-order anisotropy constant K 2 ( T ) on the initial permeability μ i ( T ) of MnZn ferrous ferrite is studied. It is shown that a non-zero K 2 can considerably limit the maximum of μ i ( T ) arising from anisotropy compensation. Particular attention is paid to the rotational contribution to μ i .
